County leaders recognized an important opportunity to coordinate and pool resources in areas where joint planning can accomplish more for the region's development than either county's independent efforts. The governing Board of Directors holds nine (9) board seats that consist of stakeholders from the business community as well as economic and workforce development representing Sonoma and Mendocino Counties.
