The EMCC is an advisory council for Emergency Medical Care and Response within Sonoma County. The EMCC helps to improve emergency services by advising the Board of Supervisors on emergency medical care, providing system oversight and maintenance, and engaging in long-term planning and coordination of public education and injury prevention.   • TERM DETAILS:

    "Providers" serve two year terms, "Consumers" serve at the pleasure of the board, until a replacement is appointed by the BOS.

  • Duties

    Review and advise Board of Supervisors on emergency medical care, provide system oversight and maintenance engage in long-term planning and coordinating public education and injury prevention

  • Membership Composition

    18 members: 1 from each Supervisorial District and 2 at-large representatives, 2 Hospital representatives, 2 from Ambulance provider agencies, 1 from EMS Dispatch, 2 from EMS personnel, 2 first responder representatives, 1 from a Sonoma County law enforcement agency, and 1 Santa Rosa Junior College Representative per 2022 revision to Bylaws.
