  • Duties

    With the input and cooperation of the Regional Parks Department, set Foundation policy, guide the operation and planning activities of the Foundation, raise funds, oversee and direct the financial transactions of the Foundation, and promote public knowledge of the Department mission and goals

  • Membership Composition

    Ten directors are appointed by the Board of Supervisors, and nine at-large directors are appointed by the Foundation Board.

  • Meeting Schedule

    The Parks Foundation board of directors generally meets on the First Friday of each month from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
