The Mission of the MCAH Advisory Board is to promote the physical and mental health of childbearing and parenting people, children, and adolescents in Sonoma County by sharing resources, coordinating activities, and advocating with the Department of Health Services, and Board of Supervisors for the needs of this community. Powers and Duties:
Keep the Board of Supervisors advised of program developments and requirements and work closely with the Operating Program personnel concerned

Membership Composition
Fifteen to twenty-one members (Summary Action No. 17, 11/15/2011): 5 Health Professionals, 3 School Health Professionals, 2 Human Services Representatives, 7 Community Representatives, 2 Consumer/Parent/Advocates, and 2 Elected Officials and/or their Representatives.

Meeting Schedule
The MCAH Advisory Board meets the first Thursday of each month from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the Public Health downtown offices at 625 5th Street in Santa Rosa, CA. The public is welcome at all MCAH Advisory Board meetings. Member Compensation?
Per Bylaws Article IV Membership Item 6. Compensation: MCAH Advisory Board members receive no compensation for serving on the MCAH Advisory Board and no reimbursement for activities.
