CHILD CARE PLANNING COUNCIL OF SONOMA COUNTY

Voting Members are appointed to two (2) year terms, ending on December 31 of the last year of the term. Voting Members appointed to an unscheduled vacancy seat shall only serve the remainder of that term.

To advise the Board of Supervisors and the County Superintendent of Schools on child care program and policy issues to conduct countywide child care needs assessments to create a countywide child care plan and to recommend priorities for child care funding from the California Department of Education

Up to 35 members:
20% / Up to 7 Seats - Consumer Representative
20% / Up to 7 Seats - Child Care Provider Representative
20% / Up to 7 Seats - Public Agency Representative
20% / Up to 7 Seats - Community Representative
20% / Up to 7 Seats - Discretionary Representative
PRIOR TO CONSIDERATION FOR APPOINTMENT - Child Care Planning Council of Sonoma County (CCPC) requires all interested members of the public attend at least one CCPC meeting and complete the following membership application https://bit.ly/CCPCMemberApp.

First Friday of each month - 8:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. usually at the Sonoma County Office of Education
