The purpose of Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County is to partner with low-income families and individuals to help them achieve economic and social stability, to build community, and to advocate for social and economic justice by building relationships with clients and communities, embracing diversity, advocating for change in public policy, partnering with other organizations, and ensuring the participation of low income persons in the development and implementation of programs and projects.   • Duties

    To establish policy and direction for the agency, to ensure agency's financial integrity, and to act as liaison with the community.

  • Membership Composition

    18 members: 6 members appointed by the Board of Supervisors (public sector), 6 members representing the needs of the low income residents in a given area and chosen by those residents (low income sector),and 6 members representing the business community (private sector members)
